JUST FOR YOU!

Reflect for a moment on Simba from the Lion King movie, who did not at first accept the responsibility that came with his journey into adulthood.  He found out that life was not always fair or easy, but when he remembered what his father taught him; he was able to go and reclaim his present and his future.

Can you hear Simba roaring that we must not disregard what we can learn on our journey?

Menopause is a part of the circle of life.  It is a natural event, which we cannot prevent; but one that we can be equipped for.  As we accept our earthly responsibility, we can trust and leave the rest to our Heavenly Father.  Instead of surrendering to the myths; we can take the time to prepare our mind, our body and our soul for a victorious time of Pausing with God.

Throughout the month of April, let’s be more conscious of the type of foods we consume and how they affect our body, how about re-examining our exercise and sleep regime?  There are lifestyle changes that we can use to cope successfully with this normal stage that takes place in the life of every woman.

Now go back and reread Psalms 23 and make it personal, it is JUST FOR YOU!

  1. Sheri,

Thank you for sharing Psalm 23 this morning. With the Lord leading and guiding me, it's hard to go astray. It's also hard to go astray if I'm pausing with Him, sitting quietly at His feet like Mary. That's also my goal for April. Just to sit at His feet and listen and follow His lead. God bless you.
